Junior Rep Clinic – April School Holidays

If your child is playing rep basketball in U12s or U14s and you genuinely want them to improve — this clinic is for them.

This isn’t a “roll the balls out and play” holiday camp.

This is three days of focused, intentional skill development based on what I see every single week coaching 200+ athletes — and what I know rep players actually need to separate themselves.


Why We Run These Clinics

After coaching multiple years of U12s, U14s and U16s rep (1s, 2s and 3s teams), I’ve noticed something consistent:

There are certain skills that make a huge difference in confident and successful players and those that play at higher levels…

And most players either:

  • Don’t get taught them properly

  • Or don’t get enough reps at them

When I’ve coached U16s, there have been so many moments where I’ve thought:

“I wish this player had learned this properly at U12s or U14s.”

This clinic is about fixing that early.


What We’ll Actually Work On

We’ll focus on the skills that win possessions, win games, build confidence and life long skills they can use from now to the college level:

  • How to actually score in real game situations

  • Finishing through contact

  • Creating separation off the dribble

  • Shooting with confidence in games (not just in drills)

  • Playing aggressive but controlled

  • Learning how to read the game — not just run a set

Every morning we’ll progress through structured skill development.
Every afternoon we’ll compete in 3v3 and 5v5 round robins so players can apply what they’ve worked on.

Skills + Game Application. That’s how improvement sticks.


What Makes It Different

The drills we use aren’t random.

They’re updated constantly based on:

  • What I’m seeing in the weekly trainings where we train over 200 rep kids

  • Research from high-level American and European development programs

  • The gaps I consistently see at tryouts, games and clinics we run

Everything we teach is with long-term development in mind — not just being good at U12s, but being ready for U16s and beyond.

📍 Mentone Girls Secondary College

We’ll have:

  • 1 court for boys

  • 1 court for girls

Spots are limited on purpose so we can maximise reps and feedback.

When it’s full, it’s full.


My goal is simple:

I want every athlete to leave this clinic more skilled, more confident, and ahead of tryouts.
