Finding a private basketball court to hire in Melbourne's south-east is harder than it should be. Public courts are often busy, outdoor courts are weather-dependent, and most school facilities aren't available to the public. Basketball Mentors in Cheltenham offers private half-court hire at our professional indoor facility — available for individual training, small group sessions, team practice or personal coaching sessions.

Why Hire a Private Basketball Court in Melbourne

Private court hire gives players and teams something that public facilities simply can't — exclusive access to a professional indoor environment where you control the schedule, the intensity and who is on court. No waiting, no strangers interrupting your session, no weather dependencies.

• Exclusive court access — no sharing with other groups or waiting for space
• Indoor professional-standard surface — same quality as competition venues
• Available before and after school hours — flexible timing to suit your schedule
• Option to add Dr Dish shooting machine to your hire session
• On-site parking — easy access from across Melbourne's Bayside area
• Coach hire optional — book a Basketball Mentors coach to run your session

Who Uses Our Court Hire?

Our court hire facility serves a range of users across Melbourne's Bayside and south-east:

• Individual players who want private training space outside of coaching sessions
• Small groups of 2-4 players practicing together without a formal coaching session
• Rep teams needing additional court time beyond their club training schedule
• School teams wanting additional sessions in a professional indoor environment
• Parents who want to practice with their child in a quality space

Adding a Dr Dish Shooting Machine

Court hire sessions can be upgraded to include access to our Dr Dish shooting machines — the same technology used by NBA and WNBL programs. This turns a standard court hire into a high-volume shooting session without needing a rebounder, maximising the efficiency of your court time.
